Siya Tayal

Nationality: Indian

Founder of Bee Nifty, motivational speaker with the Disease Management Association of India (DMAI), student of The Shri Ram School

Siya Tayal is a class nine student of The Shri Ram School. She is an enthusiastic basketball player, a passionate singer and pianist. But above all this she is a conservationist. Siya Tayal will speak about her ‘my own bag’ initiative where she collects waste fabrics and turns it into reusable bags. Her initiative provides employment, reduces waste and aims to promote the recycle, reuse and reduce culture.

Dr. Madhavi Shankar

Nationality: Indian

Forbes Asia 30 under 30, Co-Founder & CEO of SpaceBasic, Inc.

Madhavi is an entrepreneur and technology enthusiast with keen interest in public affairs and international relations. In 2018, she was named one of the Top 60 Women Transforming India. Madhavi is passionate about building and engineering consumer driven products across scale. Alexander will share some life-lessons from his 8-month gap-year in Senegal while empathizing the significance of Sustainable Goal 17: Revitalizing Global Partnerships.

Natasha Sichula

Nationality: Zambian

Natasha is passionate about women empowerment and overall good health. She is a sexual reproduction health rights champion, and an advocate for menstrual health. Hailing all the way from Africa, and after experiencing period poverty, Natasha founded HERZ. HERZ is a movement for girls that encompasses Mentorship, Volunteerism, Scholarship and Innovation to eradicate period poverty. Natasha is going to talk about how to eliminate period poverty in developing economies as a way to empower menstruators.

Yasmine is a young aspiring social entrepreneur with an international background, experience in SDG Advocacy, and a digital enthusiast. She strongly believes in youth involvement in political and social affairs, which reflects in her continuous activity within youth-led organizations in Geneva, namely in policy-making and digitalization. Yasmine is passionate about “Affordable Smart Agriculture” and connected to a grassroots, youth-led organization that connects providers of tech solutions, donor organizations, and the agricultural sector.

Sriya Surisetti

Sriya was a national level badminton player and has represented the state in national school games. An avid reader, she enjoys writing poetry and public speaking. She has been teaching under-privileged girls. She is actively working to empower the girls (SDG5) through cooperative learning processes (SDG 4), thereby enabling them to move from laggard status to leader status.
